Illustration of the Second General Assembly
the Second General Assmbly of the Chongqing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investentment will take place on 9 June 2006.This is first General Assembly after entering the 21st century, It will aim to summarize the work and achievements of the past over ten years and will put forward the direction for future development.
Li Jianchun, Director-General of Chongqing Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission and Chairman of the Association. Zhang xijian, Deputy Director of Chongqing Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commisson and Vice Chairman of the Association and representatives from all member enterprises will be present at the Assembly. Moreover,representatives from neighboring associations, consuls of foreign consulates-general in Chongqing, representatives from all walks of life, as well as government officiates will participate in the Assembly.
Brief Introduction to Association
Established in October 1988, Chongqing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment is governed directly under the Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission and is registered under the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs. It is a non-profit-making social legal entity, composed of enterprises which are funded by foreign-owned enterprises and by Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese. Mr. Li Jianchun, Director-General of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, was appointed as Chairman of the Council of the Association,and invited 2 senior consultants and 21 consultants from the government .
